Intake Coordinator
Location: Remote
6 AM -2 PM SAST (Shifts)
Job Summary:
The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing incoming patient referrals, verifying insurance details, and coordinating with hospitals to ensure patient admission. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and respond to patient referrals promptly.
Contact hospitals to coordinate patient admissions and ensure all documentation is complete.
Verify insurance coverage and liaise with insurance providers as necessary.
Conduct initial assessments with potential clients when required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Work remotely, managing tasks efficiently during assigned hours.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in healthcare administration, insurance verification, or patient intake preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple tasks independently.
Working Hours:
Remote hours; flexibility may be required to respond to urgent referrals.
Desirable Attributes:
Empathetic and patient-focused.
Proactive in problem-solving and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
