The role is primarily responsible for developing and overseeing the media (digital and traditional) strategy for our Africa markets, in collaboration with our media agencies, media partners, Brand and Commercial Teams. The role will aid in creating measurable and increasingly efficient Data Smart media strategies and action plans.
To be successful in the role, you'll deliver on the following:
Ensure the transparency and visibility of all media investments managed by our media agencies and partners, on behalf of PR SA (TV, online, print, outdoor, other media) across Africa (excluding Nigeria)
Developing and managing Connection Plans to efficiently reach and engage our key target audiences and occasions with the right message on the right channels at the right time
Monitor on a constant basis the performance of our media investments:
Bring upfront, in the organization, a true vision and Strategy for media within Pernod Ricard Africa and lead the strategic conversations with Brand Teams
Entering into deals and negotiations with media publishers through the agency when relevant for cost savings and/or access to exclusivity/innovation across media channels
Ensuring Pernod Ricard Africa is taking advantage of the Global media deals where relevant
Defining, in collaboration with the PR Brand Teams, strong and added value media strategies/briefs that can then be articulated and implemented by media agencies and partners
Manage flow plans across all brands and ensuring the right level of investment is allocated per campaign
