Media Designer - Digital and Print - Specialisation in Print Media
Core Responsibilities
Concept and design:
Development of layouts and designs for brochures, flyers, posters, magazines, and other print media; understanding of corporate identity guidelines as the foundation for design development.
Typesetting and final artwork:
Creation of print-ready files, color management, and typography.
Prepress:
Preparation and checking of print data; coordination with project management (internal and external clients).
Client Consulting:
Gathering of requirements, presentation of drafts, adjustments based on feedback.
Project Management:
Planning and organisation of production workflows, adherence to deadlines and budgets.
Professional Skills
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects for creating animated assets)
Knowledge of printing techniques, paper types, and color management
Experience with PDF/X standards and preflight checks
Strong sense for typography, layout, and corporate design
Basic knowledge of media law (copyright, licensing rights)

Qualifications
Education:
Media Designer Digital and Print (IHK), specialisation in Print
Optional:
