Job Description

Lead the creation and improvement of mechatronic systems for systems. This involves making sure that mechanical, electrical, and control parts all work together seamlessly
Use SolidWorks or similar tools to make 3D models, simulations, and prototypes for system parts. The focus is on getting the shape, fit, and function just right
Design and make sure components fit well within systems, considering space, weight, and heat
Figure out and apply ways to manage heat, making sure that components like batteries and power electronics operate safely and efficiently
Work with the testing team to create and carry out tests, ensuring that designs meet performance and safety standards
Team up with electrical engineers, control systems engineers, and other team members to make sure all the different parts and systems work well together
Create detailed engineering documents, including specifications, schematics, drawings, and reports
Lead projects, handling timelines, budgets, and resources to make sure we reach our project goals and deadlines

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience in mechatronic system design and engineering
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team
Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and manage resources effectively
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D design and modelling software
Strong experience in packaging and thermal design
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to energy storage systems

Qualification:
Meng/BEng in Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering or related
