Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a Mechanised Shift Supervisor based in Mpumalanga.
Requirements:
- Matric or an equivalent NQF 4 qualification.
- Blasting certificate of competency.
- Recognized Shift Supervisor certificate would be advantageous.
- Valid First Aid certificate.
- Medical certificate of fitness.
- Good English communication skills.
- 3+ years working experience as a miner.
- 3+ years' experience in a trackless underground mining environment.
- Exposure to acting as a Shift Supervisor would be advantageous.
- Good track record of safety and production at a TMM environment.
- Safe achievement of production targets in line with quality standards and targets.
- The planning and controlling of the crew.
- Supervising and inspecting completed work.
- Complying with the health and safety policy and practices of the company.
