Design, develop, and modify mechanical and mechatronic components for mining systems (e.g., conveyors, crushers, screening equipment, and mobile machinery).
Support the installation, commissioning, and performance testing of new equipment and system upgrades.
Conduct engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and failure analysis.
Develop technical drawings, specifications, BOMs, and project documentation.
Collaborate with electrical, automation, and production teams on integrated mining solutions.
Troubleshoot mechanical and mechatronic issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, mining regulations, and engineering best practices.
Participate in continuous improvement, reliability engineering, and plant optimization initiatives.
Provide technical support to site teams, contractors, and project managers.
???? Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in mining systems, heavy industrial machinery, or material-handling equipment preferred.
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD) and basic simulation tools.
Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and mechanical drives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on-site in demanding industrial or mining environments.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams.
