- Minimum N6 in a Mechanical Field
- Recognised Trade Test in Fitting/Fitting & Turning
- 5 years' in a supervisory position
- 5 years' fitting experience in Heavy Machinery
- John Thompson boiler attendant certificate would be advantageous
