Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to enhance cost savings, quality, and supplier reliability.
Source and qualify local and international suppliers, focusing on optimizing costs and quality.
Build strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate favourable terms, and manage supplier performance.
Oversee inventory levels, collaborate on budgeting, and monitor cost variances.
Ensure procurement processes comply with policies and regulations.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational issues promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Matric Certificate
National Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
Mechanical Engineering background with machinist experience preferred.
5+ Years of Procurement Management experience in a technical or mechanical environment, preferably within the precision engineering industry
5+ Years of experience in Material Handling and Inventory Management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
Strong understanding of procurement processes, market trends, and best practices
Technical knowledge of machinery, equipment, and materials preferred.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
