Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical fitting, installations, and site work
- Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment
- Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving
- Ensure work is completed to required quality and safety standards
- Work closely with project teams to meet deadlines and operational requirements
- Minimum 1 year working experience in site work and/or mechanical installations
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to understand mechanical systems and how they operate
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, practical approach with attention to detail
- No age restriction

Reporting Line
Reports to the Project Manager or Technical Foreman, depending on the project.
Working Hours
- Monday Thursday: 07:45 16:45
- Friday: 08:00 15:00
- Salary range: R15,000 R20,000 per month
- Higher offers up to R25,000 may be considered for suitably qualified and competent candidates
- Current salary may be matched, depending on experience and skill level
- 3% of basic salary contributed towards a retirement annuity
- 13th cheque, subject to management discretion
Company closes for 10 working days over the Christmas period, typically from 15 December
