Duties and Responsibilities:

Responds immediately to machinery and equipment breakdowns, problems, and repairs
Conducts proactive and corrective maintenance tasks
Performs machine cleaning and start-up/shutdown procedures
Assists in assembling, installing, and repairing facility machinery
Undertakes basic electrical maintenance tasks and repairs
Performs general maintenance tasks including landscaping, plumbing, and carpentry
Identifies low stock of spares and places orders accordingly
Observes safety regulations and good manufacturing practices

Education and Qualification:

Grade 12 (Mathematics and Physical Sciences)
Technical N2 or higher certificate in mechanical engineering studies with practical experience/training
