Mechanical Engineer / Technologist (nc)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Form part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
- Mechanical/Industrial engineering modelling work in Revit/Plant3D/Other software
- Mechanical engineering calculations (i.e., hydraulic calculations, system curves, pump selection, load calculations, etc.)
- Project administration (i.e., minutes, project schedules, payment certificates, etc.)
- Siteworks (i.e., supervising, site instructions, etc.)
- B.Eng / B.Tech (mechanical/mechatronic/industrial)
- Minimum 5+ years relevant practical experience in a design office/consulting firm environment
- Relevant 2+ years of post-qualification working experience on site
- Experience in pipeline and pump station design, refrigeration design, process design, and agri-processing would be an advantage
- Good communication skills verbally and in writing in English and Afrikaans.
- The candidate must have goals; must be self-driven and continually grow in taking responsibility and accountability for work tasks;
- Software skills in Autodesk REVIT / AutoCAD would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, but also able to work independently and to meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license
- Medically fit and prepared to work on construction sites as may be required
- To be based or willing to relocate to Springbok
