Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and engineering vehicle components, systems, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD)
• Conducting feasibility studies and analyzing design concepts to ensure functionality, performance, and manufacturability
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to develop innovative solutions
• Performing detailed calculations, simulations, and stress analyses to validate designs and optimize performance
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design reports
• Participating in prototype development, testing, and validation activities, both in the lab and on the field
• Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in vehicle design and engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Proven experience (X years) in mechanical design, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for design and analysis
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including chassis, powertrain, suspension, and body structure
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing vehicle design and safety (e.g., FMVSS, ECE, ISO)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
