Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed engineering projects.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed schematics, models, and technical drawings.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis using industry-standard simulation tools to validate designs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to procure materials, components, and equipment necessary for project execution.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, building codes, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective measures to mitigate adverse impacts.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement by staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) license in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a consulting or engineering services environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems and optimize design solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions within budget and timeline constraints.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a collaborative and team-oriented approach to project management.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
