Our client in the engineering industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Mechanical Engineer.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Related
- Eagerness to Enhance and Grow Understanding of Engineering Principles and Systems
- Additional Studies Welcomed in the Direction Suited to This Position
- Experience with 3D Engineering CAD Software Advantageous
- Experience in Project Costing would be advantageous
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Very Good Verbal and Written Communication
- Pro-Active Work Ethic
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent Time Management Skills
- Excellent Attention to Detail
- Experience in the Automotive Automation would be advantageous
- Understanding Technical Requirements of Clients in the Automotive Industry
- Creating of Innovative Engineering Concept Solutions to Meet Client Needs
- Working with Other Engineers to Perform Feasibility Studies, Develop Models, and Specify Hardware and Equipment
- Working with Other Engineers to Improve on Existing Processes and Mechanical Designs
- Determining and Costing of Mechanical Hardware and Labour Required for Potential Projects
- Becoming Familiar with Client Specific Mechanical Design Standards and Practices
- Preparation and Formatting of Tender Documentation
- Obtaining Supplier Quotes
- Ad hoc Tasks
