Job Description

We are looking for a high-caliber Mechanical or Civil Engineer to join a growing consulting team delivering technically challenging wet services projects. This role suits a senior engineer with a strong foundation in hydraulic design and the curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and adaptability of a top-tier engineer. You'll be involved in end-to-end engineering design, applying practical expertise to complex systems while working across diverse projects that demand precision, innovation, and sound technical judgement. :

• Deliver detailed engineering designs across wet services, fire protection, and HVAC systems
• Produce rational fire and fire sprinkler designs in line with project requirements
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant SANS standards, including SANS 10252 part 1 & 2, SANS 10400-T, and SANS 10400-P
• Develop comprehensive hydraulic designs, including booster pump systems, drainage networks, and hot water plant layouts

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years' experience within wet services engineering
• Strong technical understanding of wet services and fire protection systems, with hands-on hydraulic design exposure
• Experience in rational designs will be highly advantageous
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle required for site-related activities

Qualification:

• Eng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
• Pr Eng obtained is highly advantageous
