Minimum of 5 years management experience within mining, process plant, or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and cost centre control.
Multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and structural systems.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, particularly in heavy machinery.
Sound understanding of plant processes and operational systems.
Proficiency in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
Strong diagnostic, analytical, and reporting abilities.
Process, plant, and equipment optimisation skills.
Personal Skills:
Ability to work independently while meeting performance targets.
Excellent people management and communication skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of maintenance and engineering functions, including but not limited to:
Managing programs to monitor equipment operational and conditional status.
Creating and compiling trend data for component conditions.
Coordinating and analysing oil monitoring programs and lubricant usage.
Implementing maintenance projects to improve reliability of processing plant and mobile equipment.
Overseeing lifting equipment, machinery, hazardous chemical storage, oil facilities, and diesel installations.
Ensuring structural integrity through design, installation, repair, and replacement.
Managing on-site traffic systems to support safe operations.
