Job Description
Are you a Mechanical Engineer who is completing their BSc or BEng Mechanical Engineering degree in 2025, who has a passion for design engineering and heavy engineering and who is passionate about 3 D Modelling as well Simulation Software?
What the 12 month paid internship will offer you :
EXPERIENCE
- In-house mechanical design and development
- Strength calculations (first principles and FEA/Simulation)
- 3D CAD modelling and detailed drawing using SolidWorks
- Compilation of manufacturing data packs including:
- BOMs, QCPs, Work Instructions, and Technical Manuals
- Supplier & vendor management during fabrication
- Project management across service, manufacturing, design, and product lifecycles
- Involvement in:
- Quotation, procurement, and logistics
- Planning and scheduling
- Quality control, inspections, and reporting
- Data book creation and final closeout documentation
- We would like to review your final year design projects
- Deep interest in mechanical design and technical problem-solving
- Interest in heavy engineering sectors or heavy manufacturing
- High Competency in 3 D CAD, SolidWorks, FEA tools, and manufacturing processes
