Vacancy: Mechanical Engineer (GCC Factories)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (GCC Factories) to join our team at FX Group's particle board manufacturing facility in Lothair. This is a key leadership role responsible for plant maintenance, engineering performance, and mechanical asset reliability across a high-volume production environment.

Minimum Requirements

BTech / B.Eng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

Government Certificate of Competency - Factories (GCC Factories) (essential).

Minimum 10 years' experience in a manufacturing/production environment, preferably heavy industry.

Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.

Proven leadership in managing maintenance teams and plant engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Mechanical Maintenance Team.

Optimize asset performance to ensure reliability, availability, and cost efficiency.

Ensure effective execution of preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM/CBM).

Provide technical expertise in root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations.

Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts procurement, and contractor performance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve plant efficiency.

Uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and engineering excellence.
