Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for cranes and lifting equipment
Produce detailed engineering drawings and specifications
Perform calculations related to load, stress, torque, and material selection
Support manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes
Collaborate with electrical, production, and quality teams
Assist with troubleshooting, modifications, and upgrades on existing designs
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations

Minimum Requirements

BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
25+ years experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment
Experience with cranes, hoists, lifting equipment, or heavy machinery (advantageous)
Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and fabrication processes
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
