Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist senior engineers with the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
Perform technical calculations and analyses to ensure safe and efficient mechanical designs.
Attend project meetings and contribute to planning and execution phases.
Conduct studies, simulations, and other tasks to support the technical operations team.
Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Follow all health, safety, and company protocols.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by management within the company's scope. Participate in problem-solving sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Qualified Mechanical Engineer (Degree in Mechanical Engineering)
Minimum 4 years of experience in the manufacturing, mining or steel industry
Vast experience with Solid Works or CAD, FEA's,
Solid understanding of mechanical design principles
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Advanced experience in tender processes, projects and quotations
Working Experience in steel & manufacturing environments is a definite requirement

Salary: R40 000.00 - R60 000.00 (Depending on Experience)
