Are you a problem-solving Mechanical Engineer ready to take your career to the next level? I am a specialist recruiter looking for a driven professionals to join a dynamic engineering team supporting high-performance industrial projects in Southern Africa. This role plays a key part in delivering innovative mechanical solutions aligned with international standards and cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining 2D and 3D mechanical designs using Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
- Performing mechanical load calculations, preparing certification documentation, and ensuring compliance with global and local standards.
- Managing Bills of Materials (BOM) through SAP B1 and SAP R3.
- Collaborating with clients, international teams, workshops, and suppliers to bring mechanical concepts to life.
- Supporting continuous improvement, HSEQ compliance, and technical documentation standardization.
- Identifying material requirements, resolving design discrepancies, and improving component compatibility across regions.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc or BEng).
- 3-5 years' experience in mechanical draughting and design.
- Proficiency in CAD software, especially Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- South African Citizenship.
