Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
:
Attend design and concept meetings, both internal and project-related
Assess claims and provide cost estimates, reports, and payment certificates
Coordinate services with architects, engineers, and interior designers
Review architectural and as-built drawings, occasionally visiting sites for mark-ups
Inspect buildings, compiling due diligence and dilapidation reports
Travel internationally, working efficiently to meet project deadlines, and communicate effectively in various settings
Top of Form
Skills & Experience:
1-5 years of experience in HVAC and Energy Analysis, wet or fire services
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Dropbox, BIM360, WeTransfer)
Experience in Microsoft Office suite, Carrier HAP, and Autocad is essential
Experience in Revit will be beneficial
Knowledge of local and international regulations and standards
Qualification:
BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
Effective communication skills
Thrive in teamwork under pressure
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
