Job Description
Job Title : Mechanical Engineer
Area: 1 x vacancy in CPT and 1 x vacancy in Pretoria
Our national client, who has been in the consulting services, seeks to employ an energetic engineer who is open to travelling to sites and clients when needed. The Ideal candidate must be from the consulting services and or building services industry.
Must Have :
- 3 to 5 years in consulting engineering
- 3 to 5 years in a design and projects role
- Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have previous experience that is in alignment to the duties below.
- Must have great design software knowledge including 3D design
- FEA would be an advantage
- Coding would be an advantage
- Do tenders, bids and quotations.
- Design work.
- Project management.
- Drive the deadlines.
- Define project outcomes and timelines.
- Control and allocate resources.
- Network with external consultants
- High client relationship skills
- Manage stakeholders.
- Manage and control the budgets on each project.
- Manage and control the costs and hours worked on each project.
- Control and monitor legal documentation.
- Ensure a well-documented project plan and project scope.
