Job Description
Job Summary As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a variety of projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet client requirements, building codes, and sustainability goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC & Fire systems for new and existing buildings using industry software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP).
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation.
- Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to support design and troubleshooting efforts.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling as required.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC design and project execution.
- Proficient in HVAC design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP, HAP).
- Strong understanding of building services, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or working toward licensure is a plus.
