Job Description

Job Summary o Mechanical and electrical fault-finding, servicing, maintenance and repairs (12V / 24V systems) o Hands-on work across trucks, forklifts, mobile cranes and production-related equipment o Workshop-based and on-site & off-site maintenance and breakdown support o Maintenance and repairs of equipment used in transport and manufacturing operations o Standby duties, after-hours call-outs, weekend work when operationally required o Ensuring equipment availability, reliability and safety compliance o Independent troubleshooting and practical problem-solving under pressure o Maintaining safety standards across diverse working environments o Working closely with management and operational teams to deliver results o Interested applications are requested to submit their updated CV's (in Word.doc format) via email using Ref # 2431 o Minimum 10 years' senior, hands-on technical experience o Strong exposure to 12V / 24V electrical systems o Proven experience working on trucks, forklifts and mobile cranes o Forklift licence - essential o Valid truck licence - essential o Mobile crane licence - highly advantageous o Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic and fault-finding ability o Able to work independently with minimal supervision o Safety-focused across diverse and high-risk working environments o Clear criminal record + Traceable and contactable references. o Newcastle residency preferred or willingness to relocate. o Own reliable transport
