Job Summary
Project Introduction
A new Solar project will be starting in the Northern side of Free state, it is essential to have experience of working away from home for long periods , being site based.
Key Requirements :
- Completed National Diploma OR bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- At least 3 years experience in construction, engineering, or energy sectors is highly desirable
- Strong technical knowledge of solar systems, inverters, monitoring systems, and associated equipment
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues, optimize system performance, and troubleshoot problems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
** Supervisory experience will be advantageous
