Mechanical Draughtsman (solidworks / Autocad)

Job Summary Our client is looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman who will be working alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team. The ideal candidate should be well versed with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing 3D modelling and detailing. Requirements: Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in the design of Weldment Assemblies, Pipe Routing, and Sheet Metal components. Mechanical Engineering Diploma, MDDOP or similar qualification. Experience with 2D modelling software: AutoCAD or BricsCAD. Experience with 3D modelling software: SolidWorks and/or BricsCAD preferable. Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Office, and Word. Responsibilities: 2D Draughting 3D Modelling of Structural Steel and Piping Piping Isometrics Drawing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams Sheet metal design Manufacturing Drawings Installation Drawings Equipment selection Mechanical Equipment research and development Creating Bill of Materials Salary range R 18 000 - R 22 000 (qualification and experience dependent).
