Key Responsibilities:

Produce detailed mechanical models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings for OEM equipment
Prepare accurate detail drawings in line with engineering and quality standards
Review and check drawings prepared by other draughtsmen for accuracy and compliance
Conduct site measurements of equipment, chutes, and structural components
Support troubleshooting and redesign efforts based on site conditions and operational requirements
Ensure drawings reflect practical, safe, and efficient mechanical solutions
Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams throughout the design process

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Proven experience in mechanical draughting and machine design
Strong background in the design of rotating and dynamic equipment
Understanding of mechanical components such as drives, shafts, gears, bearings, and sealing systems
Experience with pressure vessels, mining, earthmoving, or process equipment would be advantageous
Ability to perform site measurements and translate findings into practical designs
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an engineering team
Strong references demonstrating technical competence and reliability
