Mechanical Draughtsman

Job Description
An established engineering solutions provider is looking for a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join their team in Randburg. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically strong, and confident in producing high-quality designs for manufacturing and engineering projects.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Relevant mechanical design qualification (Draughting/Mechanical Engineering Diploma or similar)
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical draughting
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing drawings, tolerances, and fabrication standards
- Based in Randburg or surrounding areas
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for components and assemblies
- Collaborate with engineers to develop solutions for custom requirements
- Revise and update technical drawings as required by project scope
- Prepare BOMs and technical documentation for production teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Support the production and engineering teams with technical input
