Our client has a position open for a Mechanical Draughtsman with Hydraulics and extensive Autodesk inventor experience to join their Draughting Department.
Position details:
Type: Permanent
Primary Purpose: To produce engineering drawings. Technical ability in the sub-disciplines of cylinders, manifolds and power packs.
Job description / core competencies:
Draughting Creating sales drawings (GA drawings) Draughting function, when required Create 3D models and GA drawings of cylinders Create 3D models and GA drawings of manifold blocks Hydraulic circuits and parts list Design cylinders Design manifold blocks Design hydraulic power packs Reverse engineer hydraulic components Update drawings and parts list Completion of Engineering Change Notices (ECN) Administrative Functions Drawing register control Follow-up on any queries on Engineering jobs Follow-up on progress of specific jobs Liaise with various stakeholders Client liaison Technical support to other departments Generating quotes for products and systems to be manufactured
Location: East Rand, Gauteng
Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Grade 12 (Matric) / N5 Certificate Mechanical Design Diploma or Draughting certification Minimum 5 years experience as a Draughtsman AutoCAD experience (Desired) and Autodesk inventor experience (Essential) MD Tools (Advantageous) Hydraulic experience essential
