Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD (Full Suite or AutoCAD Focus)
- Develop and update structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings for mining-related equipment and infrastructure
- Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and site measurements
- Revise drawings based on engineering changes and production feedback
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications
- Collaborate closely with engineers, production, and project teams
- Maintain accurate drawing records and document control
- Proven experience as a Draughtsman in a manufacturing or mining environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Full Suite or AutoCAD Focus (essential)
- Experience in structural, mechanical, and electrical drafting (essential)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience within the mining or heavy engineering sector
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Deadline-driven and well-organised
