Job Description
A well-established company based in Alberton is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining precise technical drawings, supporting production with design-related challenges, and ensuring accuracy and quality across all mechanical drafting work.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Experience working with sheet metal components
- Strong understanding of tolerancing and detailing
- Ability to read, update, and maintain engineering drawings
- Update and maintain detailed mechanical drawings
- Prepare and issue quotes for customers
- Provide technical support to production and assist with design-related challenges
