Job Description

This role focuses on the design, development and validation of mechanical systems used in heavy duty mobile equipment within an industrial operating environment.
The position is suited to a Mechanical Engineer with strong design fundamentals who is comfortable working across design, analysis, testing and technical documentation in a regulated engineering setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a mechanical design role
- Proven mechanical system design capability
- Experience with CAD software, Autodesk experience advantageous
- Exposure to simulation and analysis tools such as SolidWorks or Ansys
- Proficient in engineering documentation and MS Office
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems for heavy duty equipment applications
- Model and simulate mechanical systems using appropriate design and analysis tools
- Select components and materials to achieve performance, cost and manufacturability targets
- Produce and review mechanical drawings, assemblies and technical documentation
- Support system integration, testing and validation activities
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical system issues through structured troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare engineering calculations and contribute to FEA and CFD reports
- Support defined engineering project scopes under guidance
