Job Summary Company and :
The engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams to gather technical information, solve design challenges, and deliver practical solutions. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to effectively integrate input from various departments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural and mechanical design of new refrigeration unit ranges.
• Design sheet-metal and other mechanical components suitable for automotive vibration and shock-loading environments.
• Develop road-compressor brackets for pick-ups, vans, and small trucks.
• Implement updates and improvements to existing refrigeration products, enhancing structural integrity and vibration performance.
• Provide technical support to sales, installations, and quality teams, including reviewing drawings, advising on bracket fitment, and verifying that received goods match design specifications.

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Strong proficiency in mechanics, structural analysis, and material behaviour.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience using 3D parametric CAD software (experience in product-design or production environments preferred; SolidWorks beneficial).
• Solid understanding of sheet-metal design with emphasis on structural performance.
• Advantageous: experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and/or vibration testing in automotive environments.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities grounded in first-principles thinking.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
