Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5 to 10 years) in a similar role within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Deep understanding of mechanical design principles, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of design engineers.
• Product Development: Lead the design and development of new mining equipment and enhancements to existing products.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage design projects from inception to completion, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and milestone tracking.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance, and sales.
• Oversee Prototype Testing
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and test reports.
