Key Responsibilities:

Create and develop 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
Design and optimise mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet project specifications and quality standards.
Perform design calculations and simulations to validate concepts.
Support prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
Prepare technical documentation and bill of materials (BOM).
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design processes and standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven working experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Experience with design analysis, FEA, and simulation tools will be advantageous.
Good understanding of engineering principles, tolerances, and GD&T.
