Qualification and Experience

National diploma or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer systems / IT, or related fields.
A Minimum of 3-years of programming experience will be advantageous.
Demonstrate proficiency in the C# & Java programming languages (Mandatory).
Demonstrate proficiency in Oracle, MS SQL Server & Git (Mandatory).
Demonstrate proficiency in design patters such as MVVM, MVC, WPF, etc.
Demonstrate proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management.
Demonstrate proficiency in mathematical calculations.
Prior transformer design experience will be advantageous (Mechanical preferred).
Prior experience with the Solidworks software, or other related CAD software preferred

Duties

Perform mechanical designs of the transformers & miniature substations manufactured by the company.
Preparation, review & management of engineering documentation.
Analyse, interpret and maintain technical / design databases.
Assist to prepare and review technical standards applied in the design section.
Make decisions, identify risks and opportunities in the design process.
Work with customised engineering design software.
