Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design and detailing of components and assemblies
- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing
- Perform basic calculations, material selection, and design verification
- Support prototyping, testing, and design improvements
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and project teams
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and specifications
- BEng / BSc / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 0-5 years' experience (graduates welcome)
- Strong interest in mechanical design
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar)
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in any of the following industries: manufacturing, mining, automotive, energy, FMCG, or consulting
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) exposure
- Knowledge of GD&T and engineering standards
- Project-based design experience
