Mechanical Design Engineer (graduate / Entry Level)

This role suits a recent MSc or PhD Mechanical Engineering graduate with strong mechanical design fundamentals and exposure to CAD, basic analysis, and engineering data tools. Youll work alongside senior engineers on real design projects while developing skills in modern engineering methods, automation, and analytics.
Minimum Requirements
MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (recent graduate or final-stage)
1 year experience (internships, research, or thesis work accepted)
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar)
Understanding of mechanical design principles and basic analysis
Exposure to data analysis, Power BI, or automation tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Assist with mechanical design and development of components and systems
Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
Perform basic mechanical and structural analyses
Support testing, verification, and technical documentation
Contribute to design reviews and problem-solving activities
Apply basic data analysis and visualisation (e.g. Power BI) to engineering data
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
