Job Summary Company and :
The successful candidate will be involved in the design and development of heavy-duty mechanical equipment used in industrial and mining applications. The position requires both creativity and technical precision, with a strong focus on manufacturability, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine designs for equipment such as feeder breakers, reclaim feeders, sizers, and apron feeders.
• Produce high-quality 3D models and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks and related CAD software.
• Prepare G.A. drawings along with accurate manufacturing documentation.
• Perform necessary engineering calculations and ensure all outputs align with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Work closely with draughting teams and production personnel to resolve technical queries and support efficient manufacturing.
• Provide regular updates and technical input to the Technical Manager.
• Assist with engineering improvements, updates to existing designs, and ongoing product optimisation.

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering or a related qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in mechanical design and fabrication environments.
• Strong command of SolidWorks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D).
• Solid analytical ability and a systematic approach to solving engineering problems.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality framework.
• Exposure to the mining sector will be considered beneficial.
• Ability to interpret and translate complex design requirements.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple design projects concurrently.
