Job Summary Responsibilities:

Design mechanical systems for mobile mining equipment using software tools such as Solidworks or Autodesk to create 3D layouts, drawings and schematics of parts, assemblies and technical renderings
Simulate systems using software tools such as Solidworks, Autodesk to optimize the performance, reliability and safety of products
Create and modify mechanical design s using CAD-based tools.

Qualifications/Experience:

BSc Mechanical Engineering or Diploma Mechanical Engineering Technology, or C.Eng Tech.
2 - 5 Years of experience in similar role
May be required to travel periodically, occasionally to remote locations
Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes and cost considerations
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assemblies
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical systems for mining equipment
