Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for beneficiation plants.
Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
Optimise plant layouts for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct structural and weldment design analysis.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project integration.
Support on-site troubleshooting, commissioning, and project handover.
Prepare technical reports and documentation to support engineering decisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in mechanical design within the beneficiation plant industry or a related sector.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for design and drafting.
Strong knowledge of bulk material handling equipment and plant design principles.
Expertise in weldment design, structural analysis, and plant layout optimisation.
Solid understanding of beneficiation processes, including crushing, screening, conveying, and material separation.
Familiarity with on-site troubleshooting and commissioning practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical challenges effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team-oriented with proven ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.
