Job Description
Our client in the design and manufacturing of processing equipment situated in the Johannesburg area is urgently seeking to appoint the services of a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer.Duties & Responsibilities.Design OEM equipment from 1st principles.CAD design & drawings for in-house manufacturing.O&M manuals and on-site commissioning of equipment.Optimize equipment design using FEA and evaluation reports.Solve other under-defined and complex engineering problemsComply with ECSA competency requirements necessary for Pr. Eng. registration within 3 years.Minimum Requirements.BSc/BEng. Mechanical Engineering. Expereince in design analysis will be an advantage.Very strong calculating ability. Self-driven and sharp mathematically. High proficiency with MS Excel.
