Mechanical Design Engineer (armored Vehicles)

Job Description
Job Summary ou will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge armored platforms for defense, security, and specialized commercial use.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven engineer with a passion for mechanical systems, survivability engineering, and robust vehicle design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems for armored vehicles (hulls, suspension, drivetrain integration, structural components, etc.)
- Perform 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar)
- Conduct structural analysis (FEA, ballistic impact considerations)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, ballistic protection, and systems engineers
- Support prototype builds, testing, and field evaluations
- Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and compliance reports
- Ensure compliance with defense/military standards (e.g., STANAG, MIL-STD)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in vehicle or heavy equipment design (armored vehicles preferred)
- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, CATIA, etc.)
- Understanding of armor systems, blast/ballistic protection, and mobility integration
- Familiarity with defense industry standards and certifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive design mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
