Job Description
Our client, a Global mechanical and plant engineering firm, seeks an experienced Mechanical Artisan to join the PE branch.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- N6 Trade Tested.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the Automotive Industry.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical equipment.
- Experience in installation and commissioning for installations.
- Familiar with mechanical systems such as welding, part fabrication.
- Assembling, installing, testing and maintaining any mechanical equipment.
- Ensuring minimum downtime in the event of breakdown.
- Troubleshooting.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed to set quality standards without rework.
- Fault-finding.
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems and equipment to locate cause of breakdown.
- Mechanical preventative maintenance.
- Maintaining high quality standard of work at all times and under pressure.
- Undertaking all maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensuring machines are maintained to OEM standards.
- Basic Rigging, Working at Heights, Welding, etc.
- Be able to read and understand drawings.
- Delivering and maintaining high quality work and standards.
- Maintaining high quality standard of work at all times and under pressure.
- Willing to work shifts and overtime when needed.
- Driver's License essential.
