Petermis Logistics, a leading name in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a qualified and experienced Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of heavy-duty trucks remains in top condition, safe, and road-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on company trucks and trailers.
-Inspect, service, and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components.
-Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
-Maintain service logs and repair records accurately.
-Provide roadside assistance for breakdowns when required.
-Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Minimum Requirements:
-Recognised trade qualification as a Mechanic.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working with heavy-duty trucks.
-Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver's License.
-Strong technical and diagnostic abilities.
-Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
