: We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of small plant equipment like rammers, compactors, saws, drills, generators, etc, ensuring that all machinery is in optimal working condition to meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults on small plant hire equipment such as rammers, rollers, plate compactors, mixers, concrete saws, and more.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Ensure all equipment is safe and complies with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers as needed.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order new parts as required.
- Collaborate with the hire desk and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Relevant qualification - at least N2
- 2 years of relevant small-plant or construction experience
- Strong technical knowledge of small plant machinery.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work under pressure in a structured environment
- Valid driver's license.
