Job SummaryHire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanic for their client in the mining industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment used in mining operations.As a Mechanic in the mining industry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of mining equipment. You will have the opportunity to work on various types of heavy machinery, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, perform repairs and maintenance, and contribute to the overall productivity of mining operations.Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems and components of mining equipment
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of machinery
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance and repairs

Requirements

• Relevant certification or diploma in heavy equipment mechanics or a related field
• Proven experience as a mechanic in the mining industry
• In-depth knowledge of heavy machinery used in mining operations
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments
• Valid driver's license
