Job Description
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for taking auction-bought NP200s and restoring them to "retail-ready" mechanical condition.Engine Mastery:
Complete diagnostics, refurbishment, and repair of Renault K9K (Diesel) and K7M (Petrol) engines.Auto-Electrical Precision:
Handling injector coding, ECU diagnostics, and sensor troubleshooting (no "guessing" with parts).Project Management:
Assessing a vehicle, ordering the correct parts within budget, and finishing the job within the agreed timeline.Quality Control:
Zero comebacks. Every car leaves the workshop safe, reliable, and roadworthy.REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Certification:
Valid Trade Test Certificate / Red Seal (Diesel Mechanic).Experience:
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.Specialization:
Deep, proven technical knowledge of the K9K 1.5 dCi and K7M 1.6 engines. You must know these engines inside out.Drivers License:
Code EB (Ability to tow trailers is essential).Transport:
Must have own reliable vehicle.Mindset:
