Mechanic

to join our team and keep our fleet running smoothly.

The Role

We are seeking a

qualified, professional mechanic

who is willing to travel to all our branches across South Africa. You will be responsible for performing

minor and major services

on our diverse fleet, which includes:

Bakkies (Isuzu & Toyota Hilux) Dyna trucks & larger trucks Forklifts Cars Occasional panel beating work Both diesel and petrol
This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to fleet maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on bakkies, trucks, and forklifts. Perform minor panel beating tasks when required. Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with safety standards. Travel to all 13 branches to provide on-site mechanical support.
Requirements

Recognised

mechanical qualification

(trade test or equivalent). Proven experience working with light and heavy-duty vehicles. Knowledge of forklift maintenance and basic panel beating. Willingness to travel extensively across South Africa. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Professional, reliable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
